The weather will be fine for the Pentecost weekend over almost the whole country.
WEATHER – The sun will (finally) point the tip of its nose. After a month of May rather cool and graythe Pentecost weekend is coming hot. And the rise in temperatures is expected from this Friday, May 26, explains Meteo France.
“With the flow becoming more continental, and aided by strong sunshine and a powerful anticyclone from the British Isles to Germany, temperatures will climb to summery levels in the north”specifies the weather institute on its website.
If it will still be cool in the North on Friday morning (12 degrees at Lille for example), it will be over 20 degrees in almost all of France, as you can see in the map below. For example, it will be 22 in Paris, 23 in Strasbourg, 25 in Nice and even up to 26 degrees in Montélimar where clouds may however disturb the sky.

Clouds are also expected in Lyon or Auxerre, and even rain in Limoges, Aurillac and Gap. Here too, the temperatures will still be above 20 degrees. “The day could be +1°C above normal for the season”precise on the Weather Channel meteorologist Régis Crépet.
25 degrees in Paris?
The best day will be Saturday, with no clouds on the horizon and “where we should exceed the normal by about +2°C”, says Régis Crépet. The 20 degrees will be reached and even exceeded throughout the country with the exception of Cherbourg-Octeville where it will be only 16 degrees due to a cool wind.
For the first time this year, he adds, Paris and Rennes will reach 25 degrees. “What would be the latest first day of heat since 1999 (if this bar is reached on Saturday 27), or even 1983 (if it is reached for the first time on Sunday 28) in the capital”details Météo-France.
“The 30°C mark will be reached in New Aquitaine and Provence”, also advances the meteorologist of the Weather Channel Régis Crépet. However, be careful in the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpeswhere clouds and thunderstorms could make a new appearance in the evening.

Saturday afternoon weather
The sun will also be present and the temperatures will be much the same on Sunday, despite some clouds or showers which could fall in the afternoon in Limoges, Aurillac and Tarbes. He will do 26 in Bourges, 28 in Bordeaux or 25 in Rennes. In the evening, Météo-France announces thunderstorms in Montélimar, Gap, Bordeaux and Aurillac.
On Monday, the sun will dominate all over France with 22 degrees in Paris, 18 in Lille, 23 in Nice, 20 in Brest. According to the Weather Channel, the good weather should last at least until June 5.
