
For the second day of mobilization against the pension reform, scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, the unions contesting the government’s plan have announced more than 200 rally points.
The tension is at its peak. This Tuesday, January 31, the unions are demonstrating against pension reforma government project which notably provides for the postponement of the legal retirement age to 64 years.
While many demonstrations are to take place, more than 200 rallies are organized by the inter-union (CFDT, CGT, FO, CFE-CGC, CFTC, Unsa, Solidaires, FSU) across the country, according to the interactive map published on the site mobilizations-en-france.cgt.fr.
The Parisian demonstration will start at 2 p.m. from Place d’Italie, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The procession will take the direction of Place Vauban via Avenue des Gobelins, Boulevard de Port-Royal, Boulevard du Montparnasse and Boulevard des Invalides.
According to the police headquarters, the end of the demonstration is scheduled for 7 p.m.
