An ambulance responding to a call ended up on the roof late Saturday afternoon near Vaudreuil-Dorion, Montérégie, due to poor road conditions related to the snowstorm.

The accident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Highway 40 West, and caused no injuries.

“The road conditions are in question. We are relieved that there were no injuries in the circumstances,” said Patrick Jasmin, spokesperson for the Corporation of Ambulance Technicians of Montérégie (CETAM).

The ambulance was carrying two paramedics and a trainee, but no patients.
