Six people were killed and three were injured on Saturday when a bus collided head-on with a freight truck in upstate New York.
The crash happened on State Highway 37 in Louisville, a town just south of the United Canada border, around 6 a.m.
There were 15 people in the bus and one person in the truck. The freeway was closed for twelve hours as police investigated the accident, which they described as “horrific”.
As of yesterday, one of the injured was in critical condition and two in serious condition, police said. The gendarmes did not specify which vehicle collided with whom.
