Reassembled against Anne Hidalgo, who refuses to sell the Parc des Princes, the Ultras of PSG unfurled a banner against the mayor of Paris before the meeting, this Sunday, January 29, between the club of the capital and Reims at the end of the 20th day of Ligue 1.

“If you want to be the star, we will soon put you in the spotlight”. Through the voice of its president Romain Mabille, the Collectif Ultras Paris had warned Anne Hidalgo, after her recent declarations concerning her desire not to sell the Parc des Princes to PSG. And the group of supporters of the capital club took action a few hours before the match between the reigning French champion and Reims, this Sunday, at the end of the 20e Ligue 1 day.

The Parisian Ultras unfurled a banner under the windows of the Hôtel de Ville (4e arrondissement) to the mayor of Paris: “Take care of the sidewalks, leave the Park to us”, he wrote. A message taken from the CUP’s Twitter account which published the photos of this action in front of the town hall of Paris, specifying that it was an “act 1”. It is therefore to be expected that new banners will be deployed, this Sunday, in the gallery occupied by the Collectif Ultra Paris.

Anne Hidalgo is not willing to sell the Parc des Princes to PSG.

These actions should not ease the tensions around the Parc des Princes, which have been going on for several weeks. Tired of investing in a stadium of which they are only tenants, the leaders of PSG and its president Nasser al-Khelaïfi have expressed their desire to acquire the lair of Porte de Saint-Cloud. But they come up against the refusal of Anne Hidalgo and the town hall of Paris who keep repeating that the stadium is not for sale. To the great despair of PSG and therefore of its supporters.
