TV SERIES – Co-creator and lead voice of the animated series rick and mortyJustin Roiland was removed from the production by the American channel Adult Swim.
He is currently under investigation in California for alleged acts of domestic violence and sequestration, after a complaint dating from 2020, report it HollywoodReporter. The two counts charged are “domestic assault and battery with bodily harm” and “false imprisonment by threat, violence, fraud and/or deception”.

After pleading not guilty in October 2020, then appearing for a preliminary hearing on January 12, he was released after paying $50,000 bail. He is now awaiting a new preliminary hearing on April 27 before a possible trial.
A season 7 and new voices
In a tweet, the account of the series, whose first five seasons are available on netflixannounced that rick and morty will continue and that the talented and dedicated team is hard at work on Season 7”.

According to HollywoodReporternew voices will be hired, in particular to replace Justin Roiland who dubbed the two main characters.
Broadcast since 2015 in France, the series rick and morty recounts the misadventures of Rick, a cynical scientist, and his particularly impressionable grandson, Morty.
