The party is over for American band Panic! at the Disco.
Frontman Brandon Urie announced the news on social media on Tuesday, explaining that the band will be disbanding after their final show in Manchester, England, on March 10.
Urie justified his decision by saying that he was soon to be a father.
“Sometimes a chapter has to end before a new one can begin,” he wrote. I can’t wait to start this new adventure and for that, I have to finish this episode of my life in order to put all my energy on my family”.
“I would like to thank you all for your incredible support,” he continues. I cannot find the words to express our gratitude to you. It was an honor to share the stage with such talented people and to share our time with you”.
Panic! At the Disco was born in 2004. His songs I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Nine in the Afternoon have had tremendous success.
