A bailiff’s exploit reached our editorial staff on January 29, 2023 exposes a summons to annul four acts taken by Ni John Fru Ndi and an audit of the accounts at the request of 32 party executives.

The Chairman and the Secretary General of his party are requested “to have to meet and appear in person on February 9, 2023 at 7:00 am sharp before the High Court of Mfou, ruling in civil chamber and sitting in the courtroom habitual of his hearings in the courthouse of this city”.

In general, we learn that the 32 applicants are all senior executives of the SDF, having held high positions in various capacities. It is during the year 2022. declare the plaintiffs, when the party should be busy preparing the next elective Congress of the members of the National Executive Committee (Nec), that they are rather surprised to attend ” a series of anti-statutory maneuvers that tarnish the image of their party in the eyes of Cameroonian public opinion “.

They go on to say that these “sordid and unacceptable, anti-democratic manoeuvres” have not found solutions within the party, despite their complaints and demands. They insist that they only received insults and threats of expulsion in return. It is also for this reason that they believe that they are in a position to take legal action in spite of themselves to obtain respect for the statutes of the Sdf, ” which statutes have always protected the party from the destabilization of splits but which are now trampled on by the resolutions denounced above “.

Specifically, these cancellations concern in turn the Resolutions of the National Executive Committees of July 23, 2022 and December 10, 2022; Decision No. 0033/022 signed on June 7, 2022 by the President of the Sdf appointing the members of the Shadow cabinet; of the press release signed on July 24, 2022 by the Secretary General of the Sdf on communication and finally of decision N * 001/022 of June 7, 2022 co-opting the members of the National Executive Committee.

This assignment was given to the Chairman of the Sdf and to the Secretary General of the Sdf.

Among the applicants are His Majesty Tchatchouang Paul, former vice-president of the National Assembly, former vice-president of the Senate, second vice-president of the Sdf: Mahop Scholastique, 3rd national vice-president of the Sdf: Kumase John, national secretary for the organization of the Sdf, former mayor of Douala 4th; grand adviser to the Urban Community of Douala; Tsomelou Jean, former member of the National Assembly, former president of the parliamentary group of Senators of the Sdf, former secretary general of the Sdf. among others.

As we see, the merciless battle within the Sdf is going to court, like the last warning before the open schism between the two irreconcilable camps.
