The Danes meanwhile beat Spain in the semi-finals in a close match (26-23), but remain on a good series of victories apart from a draw against Croatia in the group stage (32-32).
The stakes are therefore high for this final: a third consecutive title for the Danes, or a seventh title for the Blues.
