The 45-year-old veteran quarterback is out of contract next season after spending the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he indicated that he would reflect before making a decision on his future, the possibilities of seeing him in Miami are unlikely, according to the ESPN channel.
The Dolphins indeed seem to want to focus on developing Tua Tagovailoa, who showed a lot of promise when he wasn’t sidelined with concussions.
The Florida organization had however been stripped this summer of its first choice in the next draft and several stakeholders were fined for having discussed with Brady while he had valid agreements with other teams, from 2019 to 2021.
Despite his 45 years, Brady had another excellent campaign with the “Bucs” (8-9) in 2022. He completed 490 passes – a new NFL record – for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His club was nevertheless eliminated from the outset in the playoffs against the Dallas Cowboys.
