After the announcement of the disappearance of Adama Niane, celebrities and friends paid tribute to the actor who died at the age of 56, in circumstances still unknown.

His on-screen partners unanimously hailed actor Adama Niane, who notably starred in the series “Plus belle la vie”, “Lupin” and at the cinema in “The SK1 affair”, where he had portrayed the killer in Guy George series.

“He was committed, on, whole, talented, powerful. He was my hero, a friend, an accomplice. Leave in peace”, noted the screenwriter and director Olivier Abbou, who announced the sad news of the death of Adama Niane, yesterday Sunday January 29. The two men had worked together on the two seasons of “Furie” and “Maroni”.

All hail “a huge actor”

Omar Sy, who for his part had shared the poster with Adama Niane in the event series “Lupin”, also paid tribute to “a huge actor alongside whom I had the chance and the pleasure of playing. A man of rare benevolence…”, he noted on Twitter.

A performer whose talent was also hailed by director Julien Leclercq (The Assault, Gibraltar, Braqueur). Then there were several of his partners in “Plus belle la vie” who also reacted to his disappearance. Nadège Beausson-Diagne, ex-commissioner Sara Douala in the series, expressed her immense sadness. “A great actor leaves today. No word. Infinite sadness, ”she noted on the blue bird network.

A grief also shared by David Baiot, who played his little brother in Plus belle la vie. “It is with a heavy heart that I learn of the death of Adama Niane. This sublime actor with whom I had the chance to work. He was my big brother on the screen and much more, I think back to our exchanges and all the kindness he showed to me when I was starting out…”, noted the latter.

The actresses Alice Belaïdi and Charlotte Gaccio or the singer Princess Erika also shared their sadness, in the comments of various Instagram publications. Not to mention that many anonymous people joined in these tributes to celebrate a “formidable” actor and “a great gentleman”.
