The Portuguese has found a buyer for his luxurious plane which he acquired in 2015, while he was still playing at Real Madrid, for the sum of 20 million euros. The name of the new owner is not known, nor even the amount spent to acquire this customized Gulfstream G-200, of which there are only 250 examples worldwide.
The plane, regularly used by his companion Georgina for her travels, has a capacity of ten people and all the necessary comforts, including a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric oven, the Wi-Fi system, a telephone and a complete multimedia system. The couple had also hired a crew of three captains and two stewardesses. And when he was not using it, he rented it out to other players as well as to businessmen for a price of between 6,000 and 10,000 euros per hour.
Despite everything, he was considered too “small” by Cristiano Ronaldo, especially to travel with the family. The five-time Ballon d’Or, who now plays in Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, sold it to be able to get a bigger one. But for the moment, he has still not managed to find his happiness.
