The New York Islanders acquired Bo Horvat from the Vancouver Canucks, in exchange for Anthony Beauvillier, Aatu Raty and a conditional first-round pick in the 2023 draft.

The American’s days were numbered in Vancouver, as the team could not come to an agreement with the captain for a contract extension.
Horvat is on track to become an unrestricted free agent after this season. He has scored 31 goals and 54 points in 49 games since the start of the 2022-2023 campaign.
