Manchester City equaled a record previously set by Manchester United after beating Slovan Bratislava 4-0 on Tuesday.
Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and James McAtee all found the net as the English champions secured victory in Slovakia, taking their tally to four points from two games in the competition this season.
City are now unbeaten in 25 matches in European competition, with the last defeat coming during the 2021-22 campaign. The only other team to have had such a run in the Champions League was the Red Devils between 2007 and 2009.
City makes United forget
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has broken a record set by legendary United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. City have now won 13 matches by four or more goals under the Spaniard in the Champions League, surpassing the Scot who managed 12 with the Old Trafford club.
Guardiola's side are hoping to secure a second successive victory against Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
