It's 8pm, the “paras” are waking up… There will be 4,400 of them competing for medals starting this Thursday. Paris 2024 had promised it, the opening ceremony has already left its mark.
The Phryges also in the game
This is the first time in the history of the Paralympics that it is taking place in the heart of a city. Paris is magical, and so are the Games. It is the presenter and disabled swimmer Théo Curin who takes the world into his, in a red Phryges taxi, launching a brilliant “Welcome to Paris”.
