Regrets will still be measured, because Fenerbahçe did not deserve it. The visitors equalized with a marvelous free kick in the 80th minutee, signed Irfan Kahveci. Edin Dzeko (31e) and Allan Saint-Maximin (50e) also had some good attempts at the tip of the foot, but they came up against an excellent Lucas Chevalier. The latter has clearly recovered well from the injury that had deprived him of participation in the Olympic Games.

Lille will now have to finish the job in a week on the banks of the Bosphorus. It won't be a walk in the park, knowing the hot atmosphere that reigns there. But, the presence in the most beautiful of European competitions comes at this price.
