Former player of Olympique Lyonnais and AS Saint-Priest, Georges Mikautadze (23 years old) is returning home.
The Georgian international striker reportedly signed a four-year deal on Thursday, according to The Team.
FC Metz, the club with which he shone last season despite being relegated to Ligue 2 (after a two-legged play-off loss against AS Saint-Etienne), would pocket 18.5 million euros in the operation.
Born in Lyon
The day before, the Lyon native had passed his medical examination before having to wait until the transfer was finalized.
OL have not yet made their third recruitment of the transfer window official, but this should be done during this Thursday afternoon.
