FC Barcelona will travel to the United States on July 23 for their now-customary pre-season tour, with three enticing matches on offer.
Just as Kylian Mbappé will not be present at the Clasico for Real Madrid, Lamine Yamal will not be present for FC Barcelona either.
According to Sport, Yamal will return to competition on August 7 or 8, which will give him three weeks of rest after Euro 2024 with Spain. This will also be the case for Ferran Torres and Pedri will also be missing, although he is injured anyway. If Nico Williams were to sign, the Catalan newspaper optimistically publishes, he would not leave either. French defender Jules Kounde finished on July 9 and is expected to leave.
Yamal is absent
FC Barcelona will return from the United States on August 7, but will be without Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi, who will either be on Olympic duty with Spain in Paris or on vacation after participating in the tournament.
It is likely that many youngsters will get their chance under Hansi Flick in pre-season, with games against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan. Barcelona will be keen to avoid any further injury problems, with Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Pedri all recovering from injuries.
