Nabil Djellit cashes on Leny Yoro

Real Madrid have remained confident in their ability to sign Lille prodigy Leny Yoro for some time.

Yet Manchester United are making life as difficult as possible for Los Blancos.

According to Nabil Djellit, Lille have accepted an offer of 50 million euros plus 12 million euros in variables from Manchester United.

United take the lead

The Red Devils are negotiating Yoro’s contract, and Djellit claims that things are moving in the right direction for United, and that the door is open to a transfer. The journalist thus assures that Real Madrid are still in the race, but that they have fallen behind.

Real Madrid opened negotiations with Lille last week, but they are still some way off reaching an agreement with the French club. Lille are pressuring Yoro to accept a more lucrative offer from United, but so far Real have maintained their stance that they will do a deal on their terms, and that Yoro would prioritise them in the summer transfer window. Ultimately, it is up to Yoro to decide whether he wants to wait for the Spanish offer or join United. That said, if Yoro’s agent were to try to push the Blancos’ offer up, this would certainly be a great way to do it.
