Morocco equips Niger with a power plant

Morocco lights up Niger with a donation of 22.5 MW of thermal energy!

Morocco has made a gesture of solidarity by offering Niger a 22.5 MW thermal power plant. This donation aims to strengthen Niger’s energy capacities and meet the growing demand for electricity in the country.

Under construction in Niamey, this thermal power plant should be operational by the end of July. It will help alleviate Niger’s energy deficit and allow the Niger Electricity Company (Nigelec) to better meet the needs of citizens, particularly in the capital.
