At least 45 people have been injured, three of them seriously, after a bus carrying 60 Inditex workers crashed as it was travelling from Barcelona to the fashion company’s factory in Tordera. The coach left the road and got stuck at the entrance to a tunnel while travelling on the C-32 motorway in the province of Barcelona. The vehicle remained upright, stuck at the entrance to the tunnel. The driver, who was the last to be freed, did not suffer any serious injuries. According to sources from the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT), the accident took place around 9am and the Generalitat firefighters mobilised a total of 10 teams, as well as the Medical Emergency System (SEM), 14 ambulances and two helicopters with medical equipment.
