Jude Bellingham, the mask falls

On Sunday night, Spain won the Euro, a record fourth title in the history of the competition.

England failed to stop Spain in the Euro 2024 final despite Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham has had a remarkable year. He joined Real Madrid last summer and has played a key role in the team’s success in La Liga and the Champions League. He had the chance to cap the season by winning Euro 2024, which would have almost certainly guaranteed him his first Ballon d’Or.

Former Germany defender Markus Babbel is among those who like Bellingham, although, as he told NewBettingOffers.co.uk, he did not like the 21-year-old’s antics.

“I feel like he’s starting to think he’s a superstar. But I don’t like that attitude. You don’t see that in players like Bukayo Saka or Jamal Musiala. With Bellingham, if you touch him a little bit, he’s always diving, falling. His body language is not good when things don’t go his way in matches.

Bellingham’s attitude criticized

“Bellingham is now 21 and everyone respects him because he is a natural leader, but I worry that he thinks the players around him are not good enough. He should show his leadership on the pitch and do everything he can to win the game, but also recognise that everyone on the team is important.

“Bellingham can handle the pressure – he joined Real Madrid and won La Liga and the Champions League. But he doesn’t seem to be the same player in an England shirt – there’s so much going on in his head and he might struggle to motivate himself for games against smaller nations, like Serbia and Slovakia.”
