Greek Yogurt Cake: The Fresh, Creamy, Protein-Packed Recipe
With the use of Greek yogurt, the cake becomes fresh, creamy and protein-rich. And as it is flourless, it is also gluten free. In the summer, this is a great dessert recipe to try. It is gentle on the taste buds and a little more beneficial for health. Food content creator @healthy_floflo, shared with you on Instagram the steps to follow to prepare this delight.
Ingredients :
- 300g thick Greek yogurt
- 50 ml of honey
- 20 g cornstarch (about 2 tablespoons)
- 2 eggs
Preparation :
- In a bowl add all ingredients and mix until smooth.
- In a round mold (about 15 cm), add baking paper and pour the batter in. Give the pan a little tap or shake so that the batter is evenly distributed, then add a piece of aluminum foil to cover the whole thing.
- Bake the cake in the oven at 180°C for 50 minutes (remove the aluminum foil after 20 minutes).
- Once the cake cookedremove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Then transfer to a plate (keep the parchment paper for now). Be gentle when transferring the cake to the plate, it will be a little soft and fragile, but don’t worry, it will be firmer after it has been refrigerated.
- Put the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours. When the cake is firmer, remove the baking paper and serve.

You just have to “wash strawberries, hull them, then cut them into pieces. Then put the strawberry pieces in a bowl, add of honey and lemon juice. Let it marinate for a few minutes and place the topping on the cake”she explains before continuing, “You can eat the cake immediately or let it sit overnight in the refrigerator so the cake absorbs the syrup.”
