Sadio Mane’s agent sets the record straight

Sadio Mané, whose name has been linked to a return to Europe, is the subject of much speculation. Faced with the growing rumors, his agent has spoken to the press.

Announced on the departure to Al-Nassr a year after his arrival, Sadio Mané will not leave the Saudi club. While RB Salzburg, his former club, is doing everything possible to repatriate him, the Senegalese striker’s agent has broken his silence to clarify things. According to the latter, Mané has no reason to leave Al-Nassr.

“I have not had any meetings with the clubs regarding Sadio. He is preparing for the season with Al Nassr and has absolutely no intention of leaving. His club is extremely happy with him,” said Björn Bezemer, agent of the former Bayern Munich player. The message is clear.

With a comfortable salary of 40 million euros per year and a prolific first season in the Gulf with 19 goals and 11 assists in 46 matches in all competitions, Mané should be in it for the long term with his club.

His time at Al-Nassr was marked by a difficult two-month spell without scoring at the start of 2024 and a bitter disappointment with a title failure against Al-Hilal, as well as a quarter-final exit from the Asian Champions League. Nevertheless, Mané is happy with his living conditions and wants to continue to flourish with Al-Nassr, in search of the titles they have failed to achieve.
