The list of suitors for the young Portuguese midfielder, Joao Neves, continues to grow. Not good news for PSG.
PSG now face competition from Manchester United for Benfica midfielder Joao Neves.
Since the end of last season, United have made two offers for Neves but nothing has come of it, with Benfica insisting the youngster will not leave for less than his buyout clause, which is in the region of €120m.
PSG remains in pole position for Neves
PSG are also interested, as transfer expert Ben Jacobs revealed: “PSG are very serious about Joao Neves but have no intention of paying his €120 million release clause. The Parisians are willing to pay €75 million to Benfica.”
Neves is a priority target for the French champions and that is one of the reasons why Manuel Ugarte has been put on the transfer list. PSG have been approached by Manchester United and Bayern, but no one has yet matched the €60 million demanded by the Parisians.
“PSG is also on the lookout for Joshua Kimmich. He is one of the most important targets of the French club”adds Jacobs.
