Laurence Tubiana has chaired the European Climate Foundation (ECF) since 2017. She was also Lionel Jospin’s environmental advisor from 1997 to 2002.

She recently co-signed a column in The world urging the New Popular Front to “without delay reach out to other actors of the republican front to discuss a republican emergency program and a government.”

“The starting point of such a negotiation will of course be, on the NFP side, its program, but each and every one of us knows, and admits in advance, that this will not be the point of arrival in all areas,” the text said.

Already criticized by the Insoumis

His profile is already criticized by the Insoumis who accuse him of closeness to Emmanuel Macron.
