Maurice KAMTO accuses the RDPC of preparing an electoral coup

Opposition leader Maurice KAMTO accuses the ruling party of preparing a real constitutional coup. In an incendiary statement, he denounces the RDPC’s desire to reverse the electoral calendar, a maneuver that could plunge the country into an unprecedented institutional crisis.

A disruption of the electoral calendar with the appearance of a putsch

According to KAMTO, the RDPC would consider organizing the presidential election before the legislative and municipal elections scheduled for February 2025.
