“I sincerely hope that he becomes President of the Republic because I know him. I hope so because I know he can fulfil the role and because I wish peace for Senegal,” added Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

The Senegalese head of state also has every idea of ​​having problems with Ousmane Sonko because he would overshadow him. “I evolved under his shadow for 10 years, fighting with complete loyalty. I am not afraid that he will overshadow me,” said Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
