Aurélien Tchouaméni is currently in Senegal to help Senegalese youth, thanks to projects set up by his Foundation!
After being eliminated by Spain in the Euro semi-finals, the French team players are now on holiday. Aurélien Tchouaméni took the opportunity to go to Senegal. There, he is carrying out activities as part of his Prosperi foundation.
The 24-year-old, originally from Cameroon, arrived in Dakar on Friday. Aurélien is visiting the interior of the country through his Prosperi Foundation, an endowment fund dedicated to improving living conditions through projects focused on health, education and sports. It is actively involved in initiatives such as the construction of health centers and sports infrastructure for disadvantaged communities.
At a press conference, Tchouaméni mentioned that he also knew the Casamance region through friends like Krépin Diatta and Samuel Jackson from his time in Monaco. “I also know Casamance, I know that Krépin Diatta told me about it, Samuel Jackson when I was in Monaco. I have many Senegalese friends who have always told me the greatest good things about the country”Tchouaméni first told journalists during an interview.
The Real Madrid player plans to do some sightseeing. “I hope I have time to go to Saly. Dakar is a beautiful city, it’s a magnificent country.”said Tchouaméni, who met with the Senegalese youth with whom he spoke.
The French international is therefore making a big promise to Senegalese youth via his Foundation. “There are quite a few projects that are going to be set up here through my foundation ‘Prospéri’. We wanted to discuss, try to give them hope and simply discover this beautiful country,” he declares.
“It is an honor for me to come here to Senegal, to be able to meet African youth, Senegalese youth. I wanted to meet them, try to give them advice, they asked me many questions. We had a great time of exchange and I am very happy to have come here”, reveals Tchouaméni.
