DAZN and beIN Sports to broadcast Ligue 1 for 500 million annually

Finally. Just one month before the launch of the new Ligue 1 season, we finally know the identity of the broadcasters of the French championship. After months of twists and turns, negotiations and fears, DAZN and beIN Sports have acquired the rights to the championship.

The British platform and the Qatari channel will broadcast the matches for at least the next two seasons, a source close to the negotiations revealed to AFP on Sunday after a board meeting of the LFP. There are still several details to be settled before the officialization of this agreement planned for five years and the 2024-2029 cycle, in particular an exit clause for DAZN and the Professional Football League in two years, in 2026.
