Paris 2024 Olympics: where and at what time to see the flame in Aube and Troyes, the route of July 13

Before the two Parisian stages, it is the Aube that will be in the spotlight this Saturday, July 13. For the 56th stage of the Olympic torch relay, 92 torchbearers will take turns all day long throughout seven segments.

The day will start at 8:40 a.m. at Ervy-le-Châtel and its medieval streets. A twenty-minute loop where the flame will pass in particular in front of the tourist information office and the Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church.

At 10:25, Nogent-sur-Seine, known for its Camille Claudel museum, offers a short tour of the Roger-Couderc stadium to the municipal theater at 11 a.m. City-under-the-Ferte will continue at 11:30 a.m. with an arrival at Clairvaux Abbey, both a former Cistercian abbey and a former prison at 11:55 a.m.

Romilly-sur-Seine takes over at 12:24 from the Bardin-Gousserey stadium to reach the three waves swimming pool at 1:22 p.m. It will then be time for fun at Dolancourtthe town which is home to the Nigloland amusement park before arriving in the vineyards at 3:13 p.m.

At 4:27 p.m., Mesnil-Saint-Père meets after a visit to the beach of Lac d’Orient, 23 hectares ideal for swimming, water activities and bird watching at 4:52 p.m.

Troyes will launch the end-of-day festivities at 5:44 p.m. by Rosières-près-Troyes where the CIME, the International Multisport and Climbing Complex, is located, a structure of more than 6,000 m2. The University of Technology will allow a first entry into the center of the historic capital of Champagne and will pass by the Trévois canal and the theater.

Today’s collective relay will highlight dance, the patriarch of breaking, present at the Olympic Games for the first time as an additional sport. Arthur Badié, nicknamed “the uncle”, is the one who made the hip-hop movement known in Troyes and was chosen to be the captain of this relay. After this collective moment, it is at the Cube, the name given to the Troyes exhibition center which can accommodate nearly 6,000 people, that the lighting of the cauldron will take place at 7:30 p.m.
