For its first friendly match, Christopher Wooh’s Stade Rennais faced US Saint-Malo in Dinard, and drew.
It’s time for Stade Rennais to get back to work! After returning to La Piverdière, SRFC headed to Dinard for a week of training, which began with the first friendly of the season.
Stade Rennais did not start their preparation in the best way in Dinard, this Saturday, July 13. Julien Stéphan’s men conceded a sluggish 3-3 draw against US Saint-Malo (National 2). Christopher Wooh, with a header from a corner by Benjamin Bourigeaud (25′); Bourigeaud, himself a scorer from a cross by Lorenz Assignon (44′); and Ludovic Blas, equalizer at the end of the match with a powerful strike (90’+1), were the three Rennes scorers. The Indomitable Lions defender scored for Rennes by perfectly heading a corner from Benjamin Bourigeaud. He was then replaced at half-time.
