Margot Robbie arrives at Wimbledon in first public appearance since her pregnancy reveal as she and husband Tom Ackerley lead the stars at the men’s semi-finals

Margot Robbie led the stars at Wimbledon on Friday as she made her first public appearance since revealing she is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley. 

The couple looked in the throes of love as they arrived hand-in-hand for day 12 of the tournament before packing on the PDA in the stands of Centre Court. 

The actress, 34, nailed maternity chic in a polka dot dress as she tentatively cradled her baby bump. 

Margot complemented her look with black heeled mules, a bowling bag and sunglasses, while Tom, also 34, opted for beige chinos. 

As they took to their seats, the pair seemed more occupied in showering one another with affection than watching the match. 

Taking their eyes away from the men’s semi-finals, Margot stunned fellow onlookers as she licked her husband’s nose.  

Margot’s pregnancy came to light in photos obtained by DailyMail.com on Sunday.

The Barbie actress could be seen proudly displaying her small, but visible baby bump in a white crop top.

The three-time Oscar nominee looked in high spirits as she bared her stomach while boarding a boat during a holiday to Lake Como with her spouse.

The couple met in 2014, married in 2016 and are co-producers on a number of projects, including Hulu’s Dollface, through their production company LuckyCap Entertainment.

The couple met while working on Suite Française in 2013, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are both in action on Day 12 of Wimbledon as both players bid to reach a spot in the final.

Djokovic will go head-to-head with Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti, while Alcaraz will face Daniil Medvedev on Centre Court. 

Also amongst the star-studded crowd at the All England Lawn Tennis Club was Hugh Grant, 63, and his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein. 

The actor, who married Anna in 2018, was dressed up in a navy suit which perfectly complemented his wife’s white buttoned minidress. 

Vick Hope put on a leggy display in a brown co-ord which she teamed with a matching trench coat. 

The presenter, 34, looked excited to head to centre court to see a day of jam-packed tennis action. 

Pippa Middleton has made her first appearance since her sister the Princess of Wales’ cancer diagnosis.

Other stars pictured amongst the huge crowds who have gathered in SW19 were Damian Lewis, Jeremy Clarkson and Katherine Jenkins. 

The opera singer caught the eye in a bold red blazer and patterned maxi dress which she teamed with huge gold strappy heels as she arrived alongside her husband Andrew Levitas, whom she has been married to for nine years. 

Dressed in a pale blue suit, Damian, 53, appeared in high spirits as he arrived at Wimbledon. The actor gave a friendly wave as he caught the attention of fans who were also there to see the tennis. 

Wimbledon organisers have faced a dash to clear a backlog of tennis matches after persistent rain washed out huge chunks of the tournament.

It comes as the All England Club says it will be handing out more than £250,000 in refunds after much of the Championships was rained off on Tuesday.

There was no play on the outside courts until 5pm and 75 of the 91 scheduled matches were cancelled.

Some 12 matches were carried over as showers deluged the grounds throughout the day.

Thousands of the £25 grounds pass and £50 Court Two ticketholders – who were among the 34,922 attending – will be entitled to the costly refunds.

Announcing its plan for refunds, the Club said: ‘Ticket holders who purchased a No 2 Show Court ticket or a Grounds Pass before 5pm on Tuesday, July 9 are eligible for a full refund due to the rain delays and the resulting cancellation of matches.’

However, it added that the automatic refunds may take until the end of the month to clear because of the huge amounts involved.

‘Due to the large volumes of refunds this will take some time to process but we anticipate conclusion by the end of this month.

‘We thank all ticket holders affected for their patience and understanding,’ the Club added. It is thought the number of eligible tickets will be in the region of some 7,500 amounting to more than a quarter of million pounds in refunds.

Officials have been scrambling to clear a backlog of matches after the much of the tournament has been blighted by wet weather which has seen almost 200 games of tennis cancelled.

Play on the outside courts was brought forward by one hour to 10.30am yesterday in an effort to catch up. 

The backlog has seen the first rounds of the Mixed Doubles severely delayed forcing the Club to push back the mixed finals to Sunday, with the Ladies Doubles finals on Saturday.

The Met Office said that more than a month’s rain – 52.6mm – had fallen in the first nine days of the championships, including 5.6mm recorded at nearby Kew Gardens on Tuesday.
