‘The Shining’ Star Shelley Duvall Dead at 75

She was best known for her role in “The Shining.” American actress Shelley Duvall died Thursday at the age of 75, The Hollywood Reporter announced Friday. The actress died in her sleep from complications related to diabetes, her partner Dan Gilroy told the American media.

Shelley Duvall died at her home in Blanco, Texas. “My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend has left us. Too much pain lately, now she is free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley,” said Dan Gilroy.
