AS Saint-Etienne has announced the signing of a new reinforcement during this summer transfer window.
It was expected, it is now official: Zuriko Davitashvili will open a new chapter in his career at theAS Saint-Etienne. The Forez club confirmed the arrival of the Georgian international winger on its digital media this Thursday. Aged 23, Davitashvili arrives at the Greens from Bordeaux, he had emerged as one of the most prominent players in the heart of a very delicate season.
Zuriko Davitashvili has passed the traditional medical examination before signing a 4-year contract with AS Saint-Etienne, to which an additional year is added as an option. The Georgian is therefore tied to ASSE until June 2028.
A choice reinforcement for the Greens
The new reinforcement of the Greens did not hide his enthusiasm.
“It is a pleasure to join this historic clubthe player confided on the Greens website. I am very happy to be here and I am looking forward to playing at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in front of incredible supporters.”
For his part, Olivier Dall’Oglio, the ASSE coach, is delighted to have an additional option for his attacking play. “Zuriko will bring us a technical touch, but also his experience, particularly international, despite his young age.. He is a player capable of being a very good passer, but also a finisher.
