OM have revealed the opponents for the first preparation matches scheduled this summer, with a view to the resumption of Ligue 1 on the weekend of August 17 and 18.
In about five weeks, the 2024-2025 Ligue 1 will begin, without Kylian Mbappé, a first in nine years. Olympique de Marseille, for its part, will do without the European Cup, a consequence of a previous season marked by a permanent crisis throughout the season and the use of four coaches. The new one is called Roberto de Zerbi.
The Italian coach, who arrived from Brighton (Premier League) for a salary that is said to be very comfortable, will lead his new team, particularly during the first preparation matches. OM will face Nîmes (National) and Toulon (National 2), respectively on July 21 and 24 at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus center, and the Germans from Augsburg, on August 10 across the Rhine.
