At the back of the row of stalls, Osalie pricks up her ears when she hears Isabelle Chatron’s brisk footsteps. The little filly has spotted the bottle full of milk that is coming quickly. She gobbles it up in a few minutes. A broad smile spreads across Isabelle Chatron’s face. Because young Osalie, just over a month and a half old, has come a long way.

“Osalie’s nannies” take over

On May 19, she came out of her mother’s womb, the mare Version. But after 15 days, the latter did not get up. A very bad sign for a horse.

When Isabelle Chatron saw her on her surveillance camera early in the morning, she did everything she could to get her up, before calling the vet. Nothing worked…
