Spain coach Luis De La Fuente has come up with a fun solution to neutralise Toni Kroos.
Toni Kroos’ retirement is fast approaching. Indeed, the German midfielder, who is currently playing in Euro 2024 with Germany, has announced that he will hang up his boots at the end of the competition taking place on home soil.
The opportunity for his next opponents to put pressure on him, starting with Spain, who will face the Mannschaft in the quarter-finals, this Friday on the pitch of the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
After Joselu, his teammate at Real Madrid this seasonit is the turn of Luis De La Fuente, coach of the Roja, to tease Kroos.

“It’s sad that he’s going to stop playing football soon. As a football lover, I’d like to see him around for a longer time,” regretted the Spanish technician.
But De La Fuente did not stop at expressing his sadness. The 63-year-old coach also revealed his bizarre plan to put the German maestro out of harm’s way. “To contain him, we thought of tying his feet… We’ll see with UEFA if they’ll let us do it!”he joked.
