Lille OSC does not have the latitude it had hoped for in the negotiations for the transfer of its brilliant defender, Leny Yoro.
Real Madrid are working on a deal for Lille defender Leny Yoro. According to Relevo, rivals Liverpool and PSG already know that Yoro wants to go to Real Madrid and have therefore withdrawn from the race.
This has put Lille in an awkward situation. The northern leaders now have no choice but to find an agreement with Real Madrid. Otherwise, they could lose Yoro for free next year in accordance with the Bosman law.
Real in a strong position for Yoro
Yoro is prepared to wait as long as it takes to join Real Madrid. Los Blancos are in a strong position to sign the French star and they should not delay in making an offer.
LOSC may have to revise its financial claims downwards. Real Madrid has so far refused to pay the price initially demanded by the French club. The sum was between 60 and 70 million euros according to several concordant sources.
