The French women’s handball team is starting its preparation for the Paris Olympics. In search of a second consecutive title in Paris, and on a fabulous run of 23 consecutive victories, the Bleues will face Norway in a first friendly match. A big test already for Olivier Krumbholz’s players, who won the world title last December.
The two teams have also faced each other twice during this World Cup, with two French victories to boot. The first took place during the last match of the group stage, and allowed the French women to finish first before heading to the quarter-finals. The revenge took place in the final, but the Bleues once again dominated their subject, thanks in particular to an excellent Léna Grandveau (5 goals).
This first match of the French women’s handball team will take place this Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on beIN Sports 3.
