Eight duels and a three-way race. This is what is looming in Hauts-de-Seine for the second round of the legislative elections this Sunday. Of the 13 constituencies in the department, four will not see their voters return to the polls since their deputies were elected in the first round. These are Elsa Faucillon (New Popular Front) in the 1st, Philippe Juvin (Les Républicains) in the 3rd, Pierre Cazeneuve (Ensemble) in the 7th and Aurélien Saintoul (New Popular Front) in the 11th.
Among the candidates still running in the other constituencies, there are six from Ensemble, one from Horizons, three from the Republicans and nine from the New Popular Front. The results of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Séjourné and government spokesperson Prisca Thevenot will be particularly scrutinized.
