A former Real Madrid great has advised Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to turn his back on Paris and join the Bernabeu.
Guti, the former Real Madrid great, says he sent one of his signed jerseys to Kvicha Kvaratskhelia at the latter’s request. With this gesture, he hopes to coax him into signing with the Merengue rather than Paris, who also covet him.
Guti admits that he would like to see the Georgian star play for Real one day. He conveyed his message to Kvaratskhelia on El Chiringuito: “I hope you liked the jersey and that your dreams come true. We’re waiting for you in Madrid.”
Kvaratskhelia invited to join Real
“I’m a little angry with Kvara because we wrote to each other on Instagram and he promised me his jersey, which I haven’t received yet,” Guti added jokingly.
“I will contact him from here, I hope he will send me one from the Georgian national team, with whom he is currently playing at Euro 2024. I really want to have his jersey at home. But I don’t want the jersey that will kick Spain out!” concluded the Spaniard.
Spain challenged and beat Georgia on Sunday night in the last 16 of the Euro. Guti can therefore be relieved. It is not certain, however, that he will get his jersey back quickly.
