Monday July 1st, Linda Hardy was the guest of Jordan de Luxe on C8. The former Miss France made touching confidences about the end of life of Geneviève de Fontenay, in a great solitude according to her since she had left the direction of the Miss.
On August 1st, a huge page in the history of Miss France was turned. Genevieve de Fontenaythe historic president of the Miss France society, died at the age of 90. The Lady with the Hat was the true soul of the competition, which she raised to the rank of an essential institution. But the great lady was also a character in strong characterwho reigned over her candidates in a manner as maternal as it was strict for decades. Guest of Jordan de Luxe on his show Jordan’s Luxury Pool This Monday on C8, the former beauty queen and actress regretted the isolation of Geneviève de Fontenay at the end of her life. Excluded from the Miss France competition in 2007, she had difficulty accepting her new situation: I have a lot of affection for her. I think she had a hard life in the end.. I find it hard that she is deprived of everything she had with Miss France, all this life, what she built with her husband at her side and suddenly everything is taken from you… Even though she sold. Things are never black or white.” Linda Hardy believes.
“I think she was a little lonely in the end.. The last time I saw her, we had lunch together, but I think it was almost too long ago since she left. I would have liked to see her one last time.” she adds, regretting in passing not having been invited to the funeral by Geneviève de Fontenay, which in fact took place in the strictest family privacy.
