Hilarious moment England fans at pub watching Three Lions’ 0-0 Euros bore draw with Slovenia turn to cheer on struggling driver attempting to reverse park

This is the hilarious moment England fans cheer on a struggling driver as she tries to reverse park outside a pub ahead of the Three Lions’ 0-0 bore draw with Slovenia at Euro 2024.

The scene, which took place at the Bell Inn in Coleshill, Birmingham, sees the pressure mount on the woman as she attempts the tricky manoeuvre in front of dozens of boozy England supporters last week.

In what is every driver’s worst nightmare, she initially fails to get her white Audi into the space despite the help of friends standing outside the car and a crowd of invested football fanatics.

The woman keeps her composure, however, and eventually guides the vehicle into the parking spot to the joy of her adoring supporters.

Footage has emerged of the chaotic scene which produced the loudest cheer of the night at the packed pub with the Three Lions disappointing on the pitch once again.

The clip, filmed from the Bell’s beer garden, sees the driver start reversing towards the spot which is in front of a wall.

The woman has a friend seated in the back while three others stand in the car park attempting to guide her into the space in between a silver Ford and a black vehicle.

With the tension building, the camera cuts to a group of England fans who divert their attention away from their lagers and towards the drama unfolding nearby.

Shouts of ‘Come on England’ can be heard amid screams of support for the driver while some even get to their feet to cheer her on.

After failing on her first attempt, the woman then calmly composes herself and readjusts the vehicle to give it another go.

One pub-goer even leaps onto a bench and screams ‘Come on!’ at the top of his voice in encouragement.

The driver then inches slowly backwards towards the wall and, despite receiving detailed instructions from one of her friends standing outside the car, looks set to miss the space once more.

But she produces a last-minute winner to the delight of the watching crowd as she slams the wheel left-hand down and slots perfectly into the gap between the cars.

The Three Lions supporters then roar with many jumping onto the beer garden’s benches, threatening to knock over carefully placed pints.

It was just about the only thing the football fans had to cheer about that night as England failed to impress, grinding to a goalless draw against Slovenia in their final Group C match.

England topped the group with the draw but were once more booed by their own supporters after the final whistle in Cologne while head coach Gareth Southgate had three plastic pint cups thrown at him as he acknowledged the travelling fans.

Days later, England struggled to dispatch Slovakia in the last 16, relying on a dramatic Jude Bellingham bicycle kick and a Harry Kane header to see them into the quarter finals.
