Around twenty gendarmes, including a dozen specialized soldiers from the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM), are still looking for him.
Drones and dog teams
They crisscrossed a vast area around the place called Pichat, above the Château de Montreynard (Tencin), in the department of Isère. The place is located in Grésivaudan.
According to Dauphine Liberatedrescuers have hired dog teams and also drones, to no avail for the moment.
The area is known for being particularly rugged and steep, punctuated by fast-flowing streams. The Isère PGHM launched an appeal for witnesses late Sunday afternoon.
