France-Belgium: Adrien Rabiot suspended in the event of a quarter-final after his yellow card

A tough blow for the French team. While the Blues and the Red Devils were tied (0-0) in the 25th minute of play in their Euro round of 16, Adrien Rabiot was cautioned by referee Glenny Nyberg while he was already under suspension. At the halfway line and after a missed pass from Antoine Griezmann, the player who is now free after the end of his contract at Juventus rushed at Citizen Jérémy Doku and received a yellow card.

A warning which deprives him of a possible quarter-final on Friday in Hamburg against the winner of the quarter-final between Slovenia and Portugal. Indeed, a player who receives two yellow cards in all matches before the semi-finals is automatically suspended for the next round. Thus, Adrien Rabiot will not be present in Hamburg on Friday against the winner of the quarter-final between Slovenia and Portugal.
