Ten children were killed and seven others injured when a boat capsized on a lake in northern Pakistan on Sunday, police said.
The boat was carrying 25 to 30 students when it capsized on the dam at Tanda Kohat, a lake in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Rescue operations are continuing, police said.
Despite the mass drownings that frequently occur in the country, due to overloaded and worn-out ships overturning in its waters, many people in Pakistan cannot swim.
